The average waiting time is around seven/eight days, but it’s common for the waiting time to be as long as two weeks, so keep that in mind.

What can I do with my provisional bike riding license?

If you choose to get a provisional license, then you can get use it for just about any kind of riding up to 125cc. However, please note that you must be at least the age of seventeen before you could take on a 125cc moped. If you are going to ride a moped, then it has to be 50cc maximum until you reach the age of seventeen. At that age, though, you can ride anything with a maximum power of 11kW.

• Your ride will not come with the right to be driven without L plates; they must stay on.
• Motorway riding is not permitted on a CBT license, regardless of your engine strength.
